What is the method used for our company?
There are two common methods to apply disinfecting, Fogging and electrostatic sprayer. We use electrostatic sprayer. The fogging is discouraged for two reasons: Reason 1. If a surface is dirty, the organic soil can shield microorganisms from contact with the disinfectant, fogging also not thoroughly wet all environmental surfaces, remember the Coronavirus is only 0.12 microns big and Reason 2. Fogging procedure produces very small droplets of the disinfectant. These droplets are easily inhaled and can penetrate deep into the lungs.The sprayer can be directed to the surface putting the surface wet allowing the dwell time of the product take action, the dwell time is the required period of time that the surfaces must remain wet in order for a disinfectant to perform completely.
Is true the fact about is important clean the surfaces before disinfecting?
It's true, but this depends on the product that you apply. We use one - step disinfectants. These products generally do not require pre-cleaning in order to disinfect a hard surface as long as dwell time is observed.But remember SARS-CoV-2 is a new and aggressive virus so that extra action is important.Our products are ONE - STEP.
